Body Strength and Tone
My experience with my Body Strength and Tone class has been one that challenged many of my pre-conceptions in fitness. I have spent a few years prior getting into shape on my own and from the first class there was no doubt that this class was a different type of training from what I had worked on before.
Through my journey and research into the methods of training being utilized in this class, I realized the balance between muscle fatigue, and muscle overload. This class taught me some of the best ways to fatigue your muscles. Previously, I worked on strict muscle overload with lifting heavy weights and lower reps. But for overall success and versatility with strength, you do need to emphasize isometric holds and endurance training. Which I am very thankful to expand my knowledge through taking this wonderful class.
