The Chemical Glyphosate and Pesticide Laden Foods

Image result for glyphosate chemical structure

Glyphosate's chemical formula is C3H8NO5P  with a molecular weight of ~169 g/ml.

Glyphosate is prevalent with a physical appearance of a white powder substance or as an amber type liquid, depending on the chemical state or application. The main use for this chemical is as an herbicide; it is used in the weed-killer Round-Up. Chemically, it disrupts production of some amino acids/proteins essential for growth in plants and microorganisms. Utilizing a pathway called the shikimic acid pathway.

There has been plenty of talk around the prevalence of glyphosate and accumulation in foods from animal feed to essentially all grown crops that we rely on, commonly in the forms of fruits and vegetables. There's been speculation and studies correlating glyphosate with cancer risk, and some studies not showing correlation.

The accumulation of glyphosate is troubling as regardless of it's possibility of being carcinogenic, it's been shown to be prevalent in even women's breast milk in levels of 76 μg/L to 166 μg/L.
There has been observed dna mutation, stunted growth, underdevelopment of musculo-skeletal systems, and reproductive effects in animals.

Why do these observed effects happen to animals, when Glyphosate only affects amino acid is only targeted to kill plants?
Don't forget that the same pathway that is disrupted in plants also destroys microorganisms including bacteria.

As you begin to hear more and more about the importance of a healthy gut microbiota and microbiome of 'good' bacteria, you will realize the synergistic effect that the bacteria we cultivate has on our immune system and knowledge is ever increasing on how bacteria has it's hand in so many chemical reactions within our bodies.
It's been said that every cell in our body is outnumbered by the multi-trillions of bacteria that are present in a given person.

Could glyphosate be one of the factors contributing to the declining health and uprising of newer conditions such as: autism, alzheimer's,birth defects, and celiac disease or gluten sensitivity?
